He messed with her hair and said: “So obedient, huh.”
Bai Qingqing raised her head, showing her fair and delicate face and a shallow smile: “I am your sister, of course I must be good.”
“Who ran away in a tantrum at night?” Fu Chen’s eyes were deep and oppressive.
Bai Qingqing shrunk her neck and grumbled: “I didn’t run around.”
The river was only a few meters away from where they had set up the camp and the modified car was visible from here.
She had walked a few minutes at most.

Fu Chen lowered his hand on her head.
His movements were slow but very aggressive and it grasped her slender neck from the back of her head, pulling her closer.
He stared at her with his deep and dark eyes and said in a low voice: “Didn’t I tell you before to listen to me and never run around?”
Bai Qingqing stared at his almost feral eyes and cold sweat dripped along her back.
She blanched with fright and she desperately tried to contain the tears that had gathered in her eyes.
She wanted to say something but she pressed her lips tightly and her whole appearance was oddly charming.
The bright and white moonlight fell on her pale face.
Her skin was as white as porcelain and the eyes that were looking at him were pitiful, aggrieved, and frightened, as she trembled just like a small animal.
Fu Chen’s eyes darkened even more and he clasped her fragile neck tighter: “Why don’t you speak?”

Bai Qingqing tried to turn her head away from him, a small sound coming from her, looking both stubborn and wronged.
But Fu Chen wasn’t someone who softened easily.
If he didn’t control her now, she would become less and less careful in the future.
Although she wasn’t really his sister, he had to spoil her but also discipline her, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to ensure her safety.
She couldn’t run around because of anger and be too far to save if she encountered danger.
“Brother.” Bai Qingqing’s voice was small and mixed with sobs: “You’re hurting me.”
Fu Chen’s hand suddenly loosened, letting go of her delicate neck.
Bai Qingqing breathed a sigh of relief and raised her hand to rub the spot he had held her.
She hung her head and pulled her hair away before turning her back to him.
“Is it red?” Fu Chen had too much strength.
Had he just tried a little bit harder, she had no doubt he would have broken her neck.
Fu Chen lowered his eyes and looked at the red marks on her skin: “Weak.”
“Hey.” Bai Qingqing was angry and blurted out: “Isn’t it because you used too much force? Is it red?”
Fu Chen started to feel guilty after she complained.
He had indeed used a little strength but hadn’t thought she was so delicate and her skin would bruise so easily.
He remained silent for a moment while staring at her tender neck and said solemnly: “I was wrong.”
“Bad brother.” Bai Qingqing hummed twice and took ointment from her space, “Help me apply the medicine or it will swell up tomorrow.”
Fu Chen felt apologetic and took the cream before opening the lid.
He was used to apply medicine on himself every other day but facing Bai Qingqing’s neck, he didn’t know where to start.
After a moment, he moved awkwardly very carefully, as if she was as precious as crystal.
Fu Chen stopped immediately: “Does it hurt?”
“No.” Bai Qingqing clenched her fists, “It’s cold.”
The medicine was relatively strong and when applied, the cold caused a slight pain.
Fu Chen massaged the area and frowned, slightly unhappy.
Once done, he suddenly thought that his “sister” was much more attractive than the gentle-looking Bai Tiantian.

Bai Qingqing turned around and noticed Fu Chen’s gloomy expression.
“What’s wrong? What happened?”
“Nothing.” Fu Chen led her back to the rest of the team.

After returning to the camp, Bai Qingqing looked at the clean picnic table.
She showed a disappointed expression, lamenting in her heart they had not left any barbecue for her.
Ah, jerks!
“Go and sit down.” Fu Chen said.
Bai Qingqing did as told and asked: “What are you doing?”
Fu Chen went to the car and came back with two plates.
The smell of food spread in the air.
Bai Qingqing’s eyes brightened: “Brother, you saved me food!”
“Eat.” The man sat down beside her.
Before he had gone to get her, he had asked Liang Zhiyu to put a plate away and keep it warm.
Bai Qingqing ate with appetite and Fu Chen stared at her, the corners of his lips twitching slightly.
After a while, Bai Qingqing touched her belly with a satisfied face and sincerely said: “Brother, you are so kind.”
“Am I kind because I give you food?”
“Yes.” Bai Qingqing answered with honesty.
Fu Chen looked at her sincere yet heartless appearance: “Pick up your things and go wash and sleep.”
“Okay.” Bai Qingqing gathered back all the outdoor supplies in her space and went back to the car.
