Adel’s ears are reddening in embarrassment.

「I know that it’s a lot of work to chop wood but I think this is necessary to have more resources like this in the village.」

Riito checks the dead tree that Adel put on the ground.

The trunk is dry but the branches are completely dry.
Given the thickness of the branches, it would be difficult to chop them off using an ax.
Riito thought that he could only ask Mia for a saw to cut them off.

With a light “crack” sound, Adel snapped a thick branch off.

Adel then looked at the branch that is about a grown man’s torso that she snapped.

「About that….I thought maybe I should help here too.」

The thick branch is now a pile of usable firewood.

「Thanks for chopping the wood.」
