SweetWater 420 Fest in Atlanta

SweetWater is not only a brewing company, but they officially bring one of the most popular annual weekend long music and arts festival in Atlanta at Candler Park during the month of April. Not only do they focus on the music and fantastic beer, they are dedicated to making changes to the world and by dubbing this music festival SweetWater 420 Earth Day Celebration. Its mission is to help raise awareness on how each person can use more earth-friendly practices in their home, community and business.

One of the best perks to this music festival is that admission is FREE! All the live music, activities, food, and education (about celebrating Earth Day) are free. Those who are 21+ with a valid ID have an option to purchase a $5 wristband in order to drink responsibly at the festival. A portion of the proceeds from the wristbands go directly to Park Pride, which benefits the maintenance of the festival's location, Candler Park.

Past performances include Railroad Earth, Arrested Development, Greensky Bluegrass, Bitteroots and you can expect performances from Perpetual Groove, Maceo Parker, Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, Cherry Royale and Donna the Buffalo. Along with music, be sure to check out Relapse 420 Comedy Tent where you can find stand-up comedy shows, not appropriate for all ages, and improv workshops for all ages.
