Smathers Beach

Smathers Beach is the main beach at Key West, but don’t get too excited about it because it is nothing like the white sandy beaches in other parts of Florida.  It is not that pretty, and the water can be full of seaweed.  You should definitely go check it out, but you might have a better time hanging out by the pool at your hotel.
