The most famous catfish restaurant in Mississippi. This "hole in the wall" style dining is probably as southern as you can get. With writing, license plates, dollar bills, and cow skulls on the walls it definitely gives it a unique and unforgettable feel. It is about 10 minutes away from Oxford and there is always a couple hour wait to eat, so get there early. Because of this, people make a night of it by bringing a “brown bag” of their favorite beverage. The first Saturday of every month there is a Big Truck Theater Show that is right next to grocery. The bands play on the back of the truck and it is a great way to spend a night especially if you have a date.
