Nashville Iroquois Steeplechase
Why You Should Go (or how to convince your friends):

Steeplechase is the place to be the second Saturday in May. Whether you just graduated and are looking for that one last thing to do with your friends or you are trying to figure out what to do that weekend between the end of the semester and the start of summer school, Steeplechase is your answer.
Nestled right outside Nashville in Percy Warner Park, there’s something for everyone at Steeplechase. Diehard equestrian fans can sit in the bleachers and watch the races that run from 1pm until almost 5pm. Those less interested in the actual races can still come for the party of the Spring and set up tents, coolers and grills in the tailgating area starting at early at 8am.
Steeplechase has been featured in the Nashville Scene, Tennessean, Nashville City Paper, and even ESPN, not to mention numerous equestrian magazines so this is obviously not an event to miss.
So girls, grab your wide-brimmed hats and Lilly dresses and guys, put on those madras shorts and pastel Polos and head on over to Nashville’s own Steeplechase.
