Let's Wear a Purple Pimp Suit to an LSU Game!

If you have ever been to a LSU football game, in Baton Rouge or otherwise, you might see a recurring outfit either in the stadium or while tailgating.  I am talking about the purple pimp suits that these people wear.  What the heck is up with that?  I mean, your colors are already the super tough purple and yellow, so why go and make yourself look even more foolish by wearing a purple pimp

My 21st in False River, Louisiana

False River is about 20 minutes north of Baton Rouge. It is called False River because it used to be part of the Mississippi river, but the land eventually closed off around it creating a 13 mile long lake. A bunch of people we know have camps down there and we just recently got one too. We spend our summers riding on the boat, skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, and listening to music. I love summertime

New Orleans Jazz Fest

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is second only to Mardi Gras as the largest annual multi-weekend party thrown in New Orleans. Usually the last weekend of April and first weekend of May, Jazz Fest welcomes thousands of fans, both local and visiting. While most people come for the music, the food and crafts have become huge in their own right. Nowhere else in the world can you nibble on crawfish bread and a snowball while watching homegrown New Orleans jazz with 75,000 other delighted festival-goers.
