Lady Bird Lake

Outdoor lovers need to go down to Lady Bird Lake, named after President Johnson's wife, and rent a kayak for an hour. It's a great way to see the city from the water and get some exercise. You can even paddle to the Congress St bridge at sunset to watch one of the largest colonies of bats in North America fly out from their underbridge slumber.
