Hike/cave/climb on or near campus: get out and enjoy the views

Sewanee is on a plateau so there are great views off of the Mountain. The campus is about 12,000 acres so there’s plenty of room to explore. Ask anyone for recommendations- there are tons of great hikes and you will likely see other students on the trail any weekend. Two of the most popular are the Piney Point and Shake Rag Hollow. Don’t miss sunset at the Cross either!
