He's Not Here

Famously (allegedly) named after an infamous night when people kept calling the bar asking for James Taylor and they kept responding "He's not here," this is a great little spot in Chapel Hill. The bar is set back from Franklin Street and hard to find if you don't know where you are going. However, it has an awesome courtyard to hang out in. The two-story bar is rarely crowded inside except in the winter months. The best thing about this bar and why you should go is that instead of serving regular beers, they give you "blue cups." These mammoth containers must hold at least 24 ounces, maybe more, and you are able to take them with you when you leave.
