Georgia Aquarium

The aquarium is relatively new, yet already one of the biggest destinations in the city.  In terms of size, it is one of the biggest aquariums in the world!  It is located in the heart of rejuvenated downtown Atlanta, right around the corner from Phillips Arena and Centennial Olympic Park.  You might think an aquarium trip is for thirteen year olds, but I can say from experience that I had a great time when I went; and I even suggest it as a great date place!  One thing about it though, it is best to get on the website and purchase tickets online, because they let people enter in waves.  You have to make an “appointment”, so plan accordingly.  http://www.georgiaaquarium.org/
