Mississippi State, where ringing cowbells is all the rage, is a great place to come watch SEC football at its finest.  New coach Dan Mullen hopes to return the dogs to power in the cutthroat SEC West.

The Dogs call Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field home, which is the second oldest on-campus stadium in division 1-A.  The latest expansion, which raised capacity of the stadium to 55,082, began in the summer of 2000 with the construction of 50 skyboxes and 1,700 club-level seats.  Announced in June 2008 were the plans to construct one of college football's largest high definition video boards in the south end zone of the stadium. The $6.1 million true HD board, will span the roof of the Leo Seal M-Club Centre in the south end zone at Scott Field, and will became operational in October, 2008.  The new board will measure 152 feet wide by 135 feet, 6 inches tall, with a main HD screen 111 feet wide by 47 feet high.  It is the largest true high definition board in the Southeastern Conference.  The 2007 17-12 victory over Alabama drew the largest-ever crowd of 56,118.  For more info about gameday and tailgating, visit http://www.gameday.msstate.edu/
