Sasquatch! Music Festival in George, Washington
Presented by the House of Blues, the Sasquatch! Music Festival is held annually in late May in the city of George, Washington (a play on words). Sasquatch is known for it’s venue–the Gorge Amphitheater–which has been called one of the best outdoor theater venues in the country. So when the bands are changing up, you’ll have one of the best aerial views in the house.
The Sasquatch! Music Festival was created in 2002 by Adam Zacks, a Pacific Northwest concert promoter. Most acts feature indie and songwriter headliners, but the festival also showcases alternative rock, hip hop and even comedy acts. All music performances take place on 4 stages–the Sasquatch! Main Stage, Bigfoot Stage, Rumpus Room and Yeti Stage. In 2012, the four day fest will include over 100 performers, including headliners such as Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, Sleigh Bells, Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse, Flaming Lips, Flogging Molly and the Decemberists.
Regular tickets to the 2012 Sasquatch! Music Festival are limited, but VIP passes and specialty passes are still available. If you love amazing views and some of the best indie and alternative rock bands in the business, Sasquatch! is worth the road trip.
