Crawfest at Tulane University - great food, great drinks, great music and great artwork

Crawfest 2012 will take place on the campus of Tulane University on April 21st. Crawfest has attracted 12,000-plus photo: tulane sallypeople at its yearly music, food and art festival.

In the past Crawfest has featured awesome recording artists, such as Givers, Trombone Shorty, 101 Runners, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, The Revivalists, The Radiators, JJ Grey and Mofro and others.

This awesome event offers great food, great drinks, great music and great artwork. Did I mention the crawfish? It wouldn’t be a Crawfest without the crawfish! Yes, there will be 16,000 pounds of crawfish this year! There will be plenty for everyone who decides to come out and join the action that has made this an event that people wait anxiously for year after year.

Crawfish 2012 Details:

  • Where: Tulane University, 31 McAlister Drive, Uptown Campus, New Orleans, LA
  • When: April 21, 2012
  • Time: 11 am-9 pm
  • Cost: Admission is free and everyone is welcome. However, if you are looking to get your hands on the crawfish then cost is $10 for the general public. This price includes all you can drink. The cost for kids under the age of 12 is only $5.00. If you are lucky enough to be a student, faculty or staff member at Tulane you pay nothing for the crawfish or the drinks. This is one of the awesome perks of being associated with such a great college. Additional food vendors will be available. Don’t forget to get your Crawfest 2012 T-shirt for only $10!
