Great live music venue that presents a diversity of musicians and their art every Friday and Saturday. The Varsity Theatre has a very cosy and intimate atmosphere. It is also on the locals’ Baton Rouge “Top 10 List”.

The story goes that, after 150 years, the London Bridge was sagging into the Thames River in London, England. The British government decided to put the bridge up for sale, and in 1962 Robert McCulloch, Founder of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and Chairman of McCulloch Oil Corporation, submitted the winning bid of $2,460,000. It was then dismantled and shipped to the town- brick by brick. The bridge was then reassembled and the rest is that very odd looking structure now standing proud in the middle of the desert.

Murfreesboro is in the exact center of the state, there is a monument off Old Lascassas Hwy just half a mile from MTSU’s campus. It’s only cool if you want to say you’ve been to the exact center of the state of Tennessee.

MTSU built incredible and huge frat houses for the fraternities on campus…they really are something to see. They throw awesome events and the best part of MTSU’s unique greek life is that any boy can attend fraternity’s parties even if they aren’t a member of that fraternity. So if you have friends in town, anyone can go to the parties any weekend.

Sammy’s is known for being a casual restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. It is a great place to get authentic Louisiana food. Although it is more on the expensive side, you are sure to get your money’s worth.

Great atmosphere! Decent for food and as a bar. Whether you’re gorging on a pizza or crossing over into gluttony with a personal calzone the size of your head, you will definitely leave fulfilled.
