Looking for a night club where you can also bowl?  Look no further than the Ten Pin Alley in Atlantic Station.  Ten Pin is way better than your normal bowling alley because it caters directly to young people who are looking for a more active club scene.  So make a reservation and come impress the ladies with your splits, 7-10 splits that is!

Perhaps Atlanta’s most well known brewer, Sweetwater is home to the famous “Sweetwater 420”.  Brewery tours and happy hour take place every Wednesday – Friday at 5:30.  It is a great way to start off a night in Atlanta, as the beer and crowd is second to none!  http://www.sweetwaterbrew.com/

The aquarium is relatively new, yet already one of the biggest destinations in the city.  In terms of size, it is one of the biggest aquariums in the world!  It is located in the heart of rejuvenated downtown Atlanta, right around the corner from Phillips Arena and Centennial Olympic Park.  You might think an aquarium trip is for thirteen year olds, but I can say from experience that I had a great time when I went; and I even suggest it as a great date place!  One thing about it though, it is best to get on the website and purchase tickets online, because they let people en

One of the best things to do on a spring day in Atlanta is to head down to Turner Field (The Ted) and watch the Atlanta Braves in action.  The key to heading down to the Ted is planning, especially for a weeknight game, as it will more than likely conflict with rush hour traffic.  Most evening games take place at 7:05pm, so my advice is to try and arrive by 6:15pm to give you plenty of time to get there.  Sadly, MARTA doesn’t have a direct line to The Ted, but rather has a bus line that takes you from the actual train stop to the stadium.

River street mostly caters to the tourist and family crowd, but isn’t a bad place to start out. There are plenty of places to get good seafood and booze – a winning combination, with Fiddler’s and Spanky’s being a few of our favorites. Get “The Platter” at Fiddler’s and you can gorge yourself on every shellfish imaginable served on a table-sized metal plate. Most places will have live music nightly, but for the most part the good stuff gets going a little later up the stairs in the Downtown district.

Most of the students from the four area “universities” will be partying downtown. (As a side note: there is a huge military population in Savannah who like to frequent the downtown area also, so watch out who you mouth off to or you might wind up with a boot in your ass.) Murphy’s Law is a great Irish Pub with good music nightly. The owners and bartenders up there take their jobs seriously and will go shot for shot with you. If you’re lucky enough to be up there on a night when local favorites The Train Wrecks are playing a show, you’re in for a good time.

If you happen to be one who likes a good piano bar, you won’t find one better than Savannah Smiles, located close to River Street, but up the stairs towards downtown. Bring plenty of cash for tips, and you can pretty much get them to play anything you want – be careful though, they wisely take advantage of drunken school pride and will orchestrate a bidding war for which fight song they play.

There are two great antique shops in downtown Tunica (12 miles south of casino area), Main Street Antiques and Ann-tiques. The antique stores are just your typical small town antique stores; kind of high end so be prepared to spend your winnings.
