See a Race at Lowe's Motor Speedway

A 167,000 seat race track and host of several NASCAR and other racing events annually. It is not overly impressive from the outside, but if you can get in on race days it is an experience to behold.

Alive After 5

During the summer and fall months, the Alive After 5 happens every Thursday. It is located at the Wachovia Atrium and is typically has a pretty solid band. Recent guests have included Zoso, Whose Bad, and Liquid Pleasure. If you want to see a myriad of attractive people, this is the event for you. Beers are expensive but the atmosphere is a good way to get a Thursday night started.

Charlotte Checkers Game

Minor league hockey is the best spectator sport in Charlotte. Tickets are cheap, beers are reasonable, and fights are frequent. The Charlotte Checkers play in the new Bobcats Arena located in downtown Charlotte. This is a good way to pass an otherwise slow night.

Go to a Carolina Panthers Game

While seeing a Panthers NFL game is fun anywhere you are it is especially fun at Bank of America Stadium. The stadium is really nice and it is normally not too hard to scalp a ticket. With the young professional culture of Charlotte the games are really social and fun.

Southernmost Point

Located at Corner of Whitehead and South Streets. The southernmost point in the continental USA. It is definitely a must stop if you are in Key West. It is one of those, "well, that's it....cool...well let's go back to drink now!" kind of places

Snorkel or Scuba

The Keys are known for their great coral reefs.  If you are certified to scuba dive, you should look into taking a trip one day.  If not, snorkeling is fun way to get out and see the reefs.  Many companies offer day trips for either snorkeling or scuba diving, and no trip to the Keys would be complete without one.

Go Fishing

Is also a good way to spend a day.  While deep sea fishing is available, much of the water around Key West is shallow, and these flats offer a great alternative to deep sea fishing.  There is no shortage of charter boats on the island ready to take you fishing.  If you are trying to save some money, it might be worth looking into chartering a boat out of one of the other islands near Key West.

This is obviously “The” reason to go to Vegas. It is without a doubt the gambling capital of the world. There are tons of casinos at every different level of from super shady to extravagant.

Within the Bellagio. The Fountains of the Bellagio perform a magnificent display (set to music) every 15-minutes in the evenings and also every hour on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Show times can vary on public holidays. Inside of the casino there is a tremendous flower garden, with displays changed every month or two. The casino also offers a fine-art gallery, although fees are charged. Bellagio is also home to one of the finest buffets on "The Strip".
