The Local has a very reasonably priced menu in the $13-$16 range your choice of meat including pork, steaks, tuna, chicken. The cuts for tuna are generous and the plates are very filling. I will say that the short rib is extremely fatty which is a good thing for some, and a bad thing for others. The pasta dishes are excellent and I highly recommend the truffled ragout and the gnocchi. The Local serves Mona Lisa pasta which is, hands down, the best pasta you can buy in town. They did an amazing job renovating what used to be an art gallery for animal lovers. It’s a pleasant, modern atmosphere with exposed brick walls, open space, high ceiling, large windows, manly bar, cloth napkins and boutique lighting.
