Roosters Blues House

Roosters, as of 2008, is a new bar in Oxford. It is a 2 story blues bar that is extremely popular on most nights of the week. With the largest Blues collection archive in the world in the Ole Miss library and the birth place of Blues not far away, it is only fitting to have great live blues shows played in town. One of the most popular thing that they do is sell 40′s of beer. The first floor is always free and 18 year old entry, but the second floor is usually 10 dollars and it is 21 years old to get in. The first floor has a bar and a large area with tables and chairs to hang out in and the second floor has a bar as well, along with a stage for great blues performances, a dancing area, and a great view of the square from the balcony. One cool fact is that it is owned by famous actor Morgan Freeman.
