Churchill’s and Stout’s (formerly McDuff’s) are very similar in that they are in the mold of the traditional Irish pub. Both of these places are a little smaller than both Pool Hall and Five Paces, so keep that in mind. Neither place has live music, but the energy level remains high with a great selection of music on the jukebox.
As I said earlier, these bars are all within a short walk of each other, so even on a crowded night, there should be plenty of options for everybody. I should also mention that in this same vicinity on Roswell Road are two other popular bars, Red Door, and Kramers. These bars are very popular, but a bit smaller than those mentioned above.
If you are looking for a place to dance and get wild, then look no further than Hole in the Wall and Peachtree Tavern, which are both on Peachtree Street. Hole in the Wall is the place for students and graduates alike to go for late night dancing. They have great drink specials, and a large dance floor, that even has a stripper pole for added good times. Peachtree Tavern, unlike Hole in the Wall, hosts live music, so that would be the big difference between the two spots. But like Hole in the Wall, the Tavern has plenty of room to dance and get wild any night of the week.
